Based in Nosara, Salagnac Arquitectos works with contemporary tropical architecture. Founded by Evangelina Quesada and Lucca Spendlingwimmer, the practice presents a portfolio of houses, hospitality spaces and educational buildings. Its published work includes Hotel Nomadic, Bodhi Tree Resort and the Casa de las Estrellas school.
The studio studies how buildings meet their surroundings, using bioclimatic strategies and material exploration to balance comfort with the conditions of a tropical setting.
