The practice
VOID is a Costa Rican design practice working across architecture, interiors, landscape and land planning. Its portfolio ranges from houses to hospitality and commercial projects, with work in Guanacaste, the Central Valley and the Pacific region. Services connect early site studies with detailed spatial design.
An approach to architecture.
The studio explores relationships between people, buildings and natural systems. Topography, vegetation, material choices and environmental performance inform spaces intended to support everyday life.

Six patios organize this home for an art enthusiast, bringing daylight and cross ventilation into its rooms. A central pool and pivoting facade panels connect shared spaces, while local wood, exposed concrete, metal and glass define the material palette.
Staggered volumes follow a steep Pacific hillside, limiting earth movement while opening rooms toward the ocean and surrounding vegetation. VOID developed the architecture and interiors as a sequence of spaces shaped by the site's changing levels.
